Intuition: The Secret You Don't Want Your Competition to Read

Author: Bill Gluth

Intuition is a secret the most successful people in the world use extensively. Following your intuition can lead to breakthroughs that are not possible any other way.

The challenge is you can't really "figure out" how to use it with rational thought.

Intuition is a feeling that comes to you as creative inspiration. Yet it can be controlled and harnessed for maximum effectiveness.

Exactly what is intuition?

It is the "feeling" you get that prompts you to follow one particular path, action or idea over another.

When I was an advertising "people" photographer, it was intuition that told me when the lighting and camera angle for a photo was perfect. I listened, I took great photos. I became very successful.

As a front line sales person I found the same creative inspiration, when followed, helped me close more sales and become a strong and profitable producer. Following my sales intuition led me to the Vice President ranks and increased career success.

When you hear your personal inspiration inside and follow it without hesitation; intuition becomes one of the greatest tools for achieving what you want in life that is available.

Where does intuition come from?

Intuition is nothing more than human subtle energy observed and acted upon. Every facial expression, every voice inflection and all of our actions send out a message to the people around us.

Consequently, the same is true of every person we encounter.

The scientific study of Quantum Physics is proving that every one and every thing is made up of subtle energy.

Quantum Physics explains that every thing is made up of atoms, which are made up of subatomic particles, a nucleus and finally strings. This study in Quantum Physics is called String Theory.

When we apply the scientific rules of matter and energy, we find that every thing we encounter gives out an energy that human beings are susceptible to.

As a result, our energy meshes with the energy of other people and even inanimate objects to create another energy form, which we best understand as feelings.

It is your action, reaction or inaction to those feelings that give you the results you obtain in life.

When you follow those feelings you are doing what I call "Thinking with your heart instead of your head."

In other words, you are following the patterns of energy that your environment is giving off. Many people call this going with the flow.

How can you use intuition in your life in business?

Every minute, every hour, every day and every week you have "feelings" that you should do one thing or the other.

You often dismiss these inspirations and do something else instead. Often, when you go against your intuition, your results are less than spectacular.

You'll know when this happens because you will think, "I had a feeling I should have done this or that instead."

Starting today, whenever you have a feeling you should do something, STOP.

Realize what you are feeling and take a brief moment to write it down. Then simply develop an action step based on your intuition.

By doing this exercise you are developing awareness by focusing on the events of every moment. When you recognize it is there and available you will be more sensitive and able to use intuition consistently.

Then evaluate how you feel and the results you get when you use intuition consistently.

Take This ACTION to use your intuition effectively

1. Whenever you realize that intuition strikes, acknowledge the feeling of intuition as it happens. Realizing you are experiencing intuition is the first step in using it successfully.

2. STOP.

3. Capture your inspiration in writing. A personal journal, a pad of paper you use regularly or a planning organizer can be used with great success.

4. Take a direct ACTION that uses your creative inspiration fully. Intuition is nothing more than a form of creativity realized and used for increased effectiveness.

5. Repeat steps 1 - 4 everyday.

Now, don't tell anyone else about intuition. It's a secret that only a select few people will ever really use. We'll go on to call those people "gifted" and "highly successful."

Will you be the kind of person who has the distinct advantage of following your heartfelt intuition to completion?
