Every day goes by the international terrorists are losing ground to the United States military and the coalition forces. But now the international terrorists face an even greater threat to their short future and that is the new strong and united Iraqi government. This month the Iraqi leadership has finally put together a team to move the nation forward in a strong democracy supporting liberty, freedom and strength. It has been a long and hard road, but the purple fingers of liberty just won't quit and they will not be bullied by murderous criminals, insurgents or international terrorists. How did the Iraqis win over the international terrorists? Well, I think the president the other day said it best when he stated; "The new government has a responsibility to deploy the growing strength of the Iraqi security forces to defeat the terrorists and insurgents and establish control over the militias. The government has the responsibility to rebuild infrastructure that makes commerce possible and that supports the education and health needs of the Iraqi people." -President George W. Bush, April 22, 2006 You see, the Iraqi people have chosen liberty, democracy and freedom over radical regimes, international terrorists and ruthless dictators. The people have spoken and have purple fingers to show for it and nothing can stop the now, thanks to little help from their friends; the United States of America and her allies. |
