Will Hurricane Wilma reach the much dreaded category five status like Mega Hurricane Katrina and Super Hurricane Rita? Could be this is a most beautiful storm, the eye was only four miles across, can you even believe that, that is one tight woman, in fact as she grows you could call her a virgin, but she will grow into a killer vixen. Super Hurricane Cat Four Hurricane Wilma started out a long standing hovering as a Tropical Depression number 24. Now Hurricane Wilma has dumped the 2-4 and left the 4, that's right a Category 4 Hurricane. The winds started at 30-33 mph and then it became a tropical storm for two-days, then in only one day it went from a Category I Hurricane to a Category IV in less than 18-hours. In fact in only 7-hours she went from a Category one with a low pressure of 970 mb to a Category IV with winds of 150 mb and a low pressure are of 901 mb. What does this mean? It means Hurricane Wilma will probably become a Category Five or CAT V Hurricane soon. What does this mean if you are in her way? Run. She means business. http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/aboutsshs.shtml October generally has Hurricanes and some become Major Hurricanes in fact there have been eight major Hurricanes in October in Atlantic Hurricane History of those eight major Hurricanes six have hit Florida, which does not sit that well for those who are currently in Cat IV Hurricane Wilma's projected Path. It seems as if the 2005 Hurricane Season has avoided Florida's Eastern Gulf Coast that is up until now. Cuba will get hit hard, as Cuba is already starting to get heavy rains and Wilma looks like she is just warming up and she comes from the same family as her half-sisters Hurricane Katrina a Cat III at landfall, but she was a Cat IV and Cat Five also. Then Super Hurricane Rita, which became on of the 3 most powerful Hurricanes of all times; she also was a cat four and cat V Hurricane. This is one woman you do not want to screw with and God help you if you have any offshore bank accounts in the Grand Cayman Islands. If you are in Florida and think you can ride this one out, don't bank on it. Think on it |
