Ship Building, Cargo Fleets, and the Dubai Deal

Author: Lance Winslow

Recently a Political Blogger who was somewhat angry over the Dubai World Deal appears like most Americans to have gotten some really bad information from the mainstream media. Assuming that Dubai World was actually buying six US Ports, when in fact we later learn as a concerned public that Dubai World is merely under contract to operate certain operations other than security at the ports after buying interests in a Foreign British Company which has been doing the job prior. Based on the original erroneous reports and his knowledge shipbuilding he stated;

If we went back to building our own ships, owning our own cargo fleet once again and manning it with American merchant Marines while running the ports by Americans.

Well you know personally in regards to ship building and maritime industry; I have no problem with that. Now then lets get these G-Damn Congressmen and tell those jerk offs, along with the regulators of all these bureaucracies to stop over regulating American Businesses. Next lets tell those damn environmentalists and their lawyers to stop suing American Businesses and chasing them away. Then you can have what you want and not a day before.

Additionally you need to buy a copy of Ayn Rand "When Atlas Shrugged" for your elected representatives, stick them in a room and lock the door until they read it all and then test them on it. If they fail the test throw them out of office on charges of being illiterate and being left behind. There has to be a law somewhere that Congressmen have to be able to read and write? If they cannot bring them up on violations, because apparently they cannot read the Constitution either and have no clue as to what the "right to free contract" means. Thats what I say and you can consider this in 2006.
