In order to drive traffic to the site, you need to do a little blog promotion. You must apply the following steps to enjoy huge traffic.

First, setting up a bloglet subscription form on the blog would be quite beneficial. You must invite friends, family members, colleagues, associates and clients to subscribe to your blog.

You must read as well as send comments on other blogs that come under your target niche. You must not write comments such as, nice blogs or great post. It would be advisable to write intelligent and significant comments and placing a link to your blog. In order to ping blog directories, you must go for Ping-O-matic. Whenever you publish, you must do this.

Submitting a blog to traditional search engines plays a key role in enhancing traffic to your blog. Submission of blog to blog directories would be quite beneficial. In order to track your submissions, you must create a form. When you do it for the first time, you must schedule an hour a day for the submission or hire a VA to do it.

In case, you are publishing a newsletter, then ensure that there is at least one link to the blog in each issue. Blog must be included as a standard part of all outgoing correspondences like auto-responders, sales letters, sequences, white papers and reports. Your business cards, brochures and flyers must have the printed URL of your blog.

There must be an RSS feed URL so that people are able to subscribe. RSS stands for Rich Site Summary. It is also considered as Really Simple Syndication. It is usually a document type and incorporates an updated list of websites or blogs that are available for syndication. In order to read RSS documents, aggregators should be used.
